"NRA Chief Sees Battle Against Gun Control As Far From Over." TPM. N.p., 15 Mar. 2013. Web. 07 Nov. 2014. The summarized article supports the vision thy has when laws attempt to come into effect to improvise the usage of gun control by thoroughly examining universal background checks. For example, the United States motto states that “land of the free, home of the brave” indicates as LaPierre said that others have the voice to take control of gun control. Shall individuals feel Americanized, and then they should take their own stand, plant their feet where they stand, and never become swayed by politics. As quoted, LaPierre states that “That’s what they’re after, the names of good, decent people all over this great country who happen to own a firearm, to go into a federal database for federal registration of every lawful gun owner in America,” for one can agree that if we create universal backgrounds and take away what is unfair; then it very dangerous. This is vital because there are good people who do take great reasonability in gun control and if the government wants to take away that right, they will only create riots and more voices to be spoken. There is a point being valid that if the United States of America does indeed expand background checks, criminals who are not submissive will sneak their way around. What this country needs is to relax and take this controversy into careful consideration because gun control will continue to spiral out of control if the background check on gun control is expanded.

Kucinich, Jackie, and Paul Singer. "NRA Head Says Background Checks Will Fix Nothing." N.p., 15 Mar. 2013. Web. 07 Nov. 2014. On Friday of this date, LaPierre gathered before others to state that if this nation goes forward by expanding universal background checks, it is another excuse for the government to take tax or guns. The man also stated that congress is taking a stand too late because of the tragedy at Newtown Elementary school. For example, LaPierre pointed out that congress was deliberately waiting and doing nothing until they needed a reason to have a voice. That if anything, the ideas that came to mind of any congress member, would be a voice without debate. This country should not expand universal background checks because it is congress’s fault for not wanting to take a stand by waiting until 20 small children died. If anything as LaPierre says, we should push forward with any gun owners who have mental health problems to require one. However, Wayne LaPierre also notes that health care privacy laws will find excuses to not thoroughly follow protocol. Also noted, that we should not merely be advised to use office supplies to defend ourselves because it is not successful and guns will have greater effect. However, there was an approval on banned goods of assault weapons and any large-capacity ammunition magazines such as thirty rounds. Overall, the committee has after the death of 26 lives decided to approve funding for schools that will increase security and increase protocol penalties for people who buy guns and transfer them to people ineligible to buy them.

Hammer, Marion P. "Action Center." NRAILA RSS. N.p., 25 Jan. 2013. Web. 7 Nov. 2014. As quoted by Marion Hammer, “Imagine a grandfather who wants to give a family shotgun to his 12-year-old grandson having to do a background check on his grandson before giving him the shotgun. Imagine a friend having to do a background check on his lifetime best buddy before lending him a hunting rifle. Imagine if your mother had a prowler at her home, having to do a background check on your own mom before you could give her one of your guns for protection.” Stated above, universal background checks are not good for everyone who essentially needs the right for gun control to protect them. Most individuals will like to believe that the expansion of universal background checks will turn the gun onto the innocent and say your...
