Remembered event essay
May 20th, 2013 was the day that I will remember for the rest of my life. It was just like a regular school day with a sunny weather and a brief vibe from the morning breeze. As I got out of my car in parking lot 30, I realized that it was a horrible decision to stay up so late last night. I felt so tired and regretful for my decision. After sips and sips of my coffee from Starbucks, I felt more energized, and all of a sudden the dark cloud just automatically cleared out of my mind. After hours of talks about ideas of nurture vs. nature, I was finally done with the day. As I walked out of the University Lecture Hall, my mind was filled with the idea of going to the post office to pick up my newly ordered contact lenses that I was so excited about for days. But, I had no idea of what was going to happen throughout the rest of my day. My car was crashed on the 60 east freeway. I was so desperate and I thought I was going to fall off of the freeway, but in the matter of fact, I am still living and breathing right at this moment. I was driving on the fast lane with a speed around seventy miles per hour while I was checking my GPS with one hand and the other on the wheel. I checked my right hand mirror and suddenly I felt a car was approaching toward the right side of my car. With a sudden shiver, my first reaction was to pull my wheel toward the left side, so I can avoid my car from crashing. At the same moment, I wasn’t able to completely control my car and it went out of control. I was horrified and scared. I realized that things were getting real, and there’s a chance that I am going to die. While having these horrible thoughts, my car started to spin. After three continuous spins, my car finally stopped and crashed into the bump. Rapidly turning my head, I saw smoke coming out of the back of my car and I was frightened. I hurried and tried to open the door, but my door was jammed, and then a post officer sped in his way to help me to open...
